In late 2017, Chester County Hospital received full re-accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation from the American College of Cardiology.
(ACC). While Chester County Hospital has steadfastly provided superior care to people experiencing chest pain, it is an honor for the American College of Cardiology to again recognize the hospital's process for quality and the positive impact this has had on the community.
Its Chest Pain Center has demonstrated its expertise and commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding a wide set of stringent criteria and undergoing an onsite review by a team of ACC's accreditation review specialists.
Chester County Hospital also received this designation in 2013.
