Campaign for Chester County Hospital
Since we opened our doors in 1892, the community has been the driving force behind Chester County Hospital's growth. As the needs of our community have grown, we've grown. The fiercely determined support and whole-hearted backing of our community has allowed us to add new specialties and cutting edge technology. Being a part of the Penn Medicine family has magnified the extraordinary care our doctors can provide here in Chester County, PA. Now The Power of Community campaign will allow us to expand on the world class care we've promised to you and your family. Together, with the Power of Penn Medicine, we are bringing the best that health care has to offer, to the community in which we live.
Cardiac Care Transformation Fund
Chester County Hospital offers advanced care for a full spectrum of heart and vascular conditions, including arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart disease, hypertension, vascular disease, and more - with seamless access to the renowned expertise of the Philadelphia region's best clinicians, researchers and educators.
To take our program to next level, we are seeking funding for a comprehensive Atrial Fibrillation Center, a state-of-the-art Hybrid Operating Room, and (3) Invasive Cardiology Imaging Suites equipped with the latest in lifesaving technology.
Cancer Care Transformation Fund
Chester County Hospital's cancer program is now a fully integrated part of Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center, ranked by U.S. News and World Report as #1 in the region and 7th in the nation, bringing you and your loved ones access to leading care, close to home. Providing the best care for our patients involves an engaged multidisciplinary team of health care providers, increasing the number of clinical trials offered, and enhancing our offering ofsupportive services for those in need.
In order to accomplish this, Chester County Hospital needs to increase our number of care teams within diagnostic specialties. These teams will look at the disease from every angle, sharing best practices and new concepts to harness the expertise of the entire team in order to reach the most successful results.
Orthopaedic Care Transformation Fund
The Orthopaedic Program at Chester County Hospital provides patients easy access to high-quality services and technology that focus on getting you back to your normal activity level. To advance our program to the next level of care, we are seeking funding to establish a comprehensive Spine Center that will involve not only the orthopaedic surgeons who perform minimally invasive procedures, but also physical therapy, pain management specialists, neurologists, and dedicated radiology.
Investing in the Spine Center at Chester County Hospital, will enable us to continue our excellent record of successful surgical outcomes and provide training opportunities for the next generation of specialists on the world' most cutting-edge surgical equipment.
Community Wellness and Outreach
As a community-based hospital, we are responsible for providing a proactive approach to addressing the community's health questions and concerns. Chester County Hospital is committed to delivering a broad scope of high-quality health education programs to the people of Chester County and the surrounding communities. A wide variety of wellness programs and services that address specific life cycle needs and chronic health conditions are available, including education, screening and support groups for diabetes prevention, cardiovascular health, prenatal care, cancer care, and food insecurity.
Identifying potential health risks at an early stage is the essence of wellness and outreach programs and we have the data to show that our programs work. But we can't do it alone. Funding for these important programs would ensure our ability to increase the number of people we can serve as well as provide opportunity for new programs, as health issues are on the rise with this aging population.
