The Occupational Health Center provides Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations in accordance with regulations promulgated by The United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration in Title 49 CFR Part 391.

Specific components include:

  • Complete Medical History
  • Height & Weight
  • Vital Signs
  • Urine Dipstick
  • Audiogram
  • Stereo Optic Vision
  • Comprehensive Physical Examination

Following completion of the DOT physical examination for a new hire or existing employee, you will receive a copy of the DOT medical certificate as required by the DOT regulations. The medical certificate is the piece of information that the DOT regulation requires the employer to receive from the medical provider.

The Occupational Health Center works closely with your company to learn as much as possible about each job description. This enables us to integrate the medical information with the job information to make the best possible recommendations.
