The Penn Bariatric and Weight Loss Surgery Program offers a full range of weight loss surgery options at Chester County Hospital, ensuring that you receive the highest quality bariatric care close to home. All bariatric surgeries performed at Chester County Hospital are minimally-invasive, using laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. Minimally invasive procedures have many benefits, including shorter recovery times and less post-operative pain. Currently at Chester County Hospital, we perform the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy procedure.
In addition, at our downtown Philadelphia locations, we offer Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass and also perform Revisional Bariatric Surgeries for select patients who have had previous weight loss procedures, but did not achieve optimal weight loss.
