Goral Pathology

Mehmet Goral, MD, PhD
Medical Director of Hematopathology
General Surgical Pathology/Cytopathology

A member of Chester County Hospital Medical Staff since 2004, Dr. Goral received his doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University and medical degree for the University of Istanbul. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Vanderbilt University. He completed a two-year fellowship in Hematopathology at Vanderbilt University and Thomas Jefferson University followed by a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Goral is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Hematopathology and Clinical Informatics.


Jodry Pathology

Liza Perez Jodry, MD

A member of Chester County Hospital Medical Staff since 2001, Dr. Jodry received her medical degree at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine. She completed a residency in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, serving as Chief Resident in 1998. She completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Jodry is Board Certified in Anatomic, Clinical and Cytopathology and holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine. She has special interest in breast pathology, head and neck pathology, gynecologic and thyroid cytology and was instrumental in developing the thyroid fine needle aspiration clinic with the Hospital's Department of Radiology. She is a board member of the Chester County Medical Society, an active member of the Hospital's Blood Usage Committee and Breast Health Task Force, and is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross. She has obtained a unique Certificate of Recognition for Multidisciplinary Breast Pathology from CAP after completing their Advanced Practical Pathology Program.


Saul Pathology

Scott H. Saul, MD

Gastrointestinal, Hepatic and General Surgical Pathology

A member of Chester County Hospital Medical Staff since 1989, Dr. Saul graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in 1983. He then served for six years as a surgical pathologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Saul is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He is Adjunct/Clinical Professor, Departments of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Jefferson Medical College, Temple University School of Medicine and the Drexel University School of Medicine. He is Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He has many authored articles published in peer review journals and book chapters dealing with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary neoplasms. He has lectured locally and nationally and was selected as the 2005 Shelly Lecturer for the Department of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University. In January, 2009 he was the featured lecturer at the Philadelphia Pathology Society on topics in gastrointestinal pathology, including gastrointestinal oncology. Dr. Saul is consulted regularly by pathologists and clinicians regarding challenging cases in gastrointestinal diseases. He serves as coordinator of the Hospital's weekly Tumor Conference, is a member of the gastrointestinal and lung multidisciplinary team, and is a member of Chester County Hospital's Cancer Committee.


Heald Pathology
James I. Heald, MD, PhD

General Surgical Pathology/Cytopathology

A member of Chester County Hospital Medical Staff since 1988, Dr. Heald received his doctoral degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. He completed an internship and residency at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He previously served as the Assistant Laboratory Director at the United States Air Force Wilford Hall Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Anatomic, Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.
