Many risk factors for heart disease are often silent, leaving us unaware of how at-risk we really are. This program is designed to identify specific known risk factors for heart disease, and to increase awareness about what actions you can take to reduce, or seek further evaluation of your risk.
The cardiovascular screening includes cholesterol and HDL testing, blood pressure, BMI and percent body fat testing as well as a 10-Year Risk Assessment for Heart Disease. Your screening concludes with individual counseling and a personal action plan guided by our health professionals.
Educational booths will also be on site with valuable information on nutrition, fitness, stress reduction, smoking cessation and more. Program includes refreshments. Come join us and get a handle on your heart health! Registration required.
This FREE program is co-facilitated by Chester County Health Department.
